Peter Pepper: AdventurePunk Original Vintage T-Shirt, c. 2012

AdventurePunk, Where the Name First Appeared

Before AdventurePunk became part of the Peter Pepper vocabulary, it appeared here.

Originally produced circa 2012, this black Peter Pepper shirt is the first known merchandise design to feature the term “AdventurePunk”, a phrase that would come to describe the collision of punk energy, electronic music, visual absurdity, travel, experimentation, and general refusal to remain in one lane that runs throughout the project. In short, doing something rather than nothing, and not being afraid to get drty in the process.

The original graphic hits black fabric with oversized hot-pink ADVENTURE PUNK lettering, a distressed purple insignia, and the rough-edged visual language of Peter Pepper’s early solo era.

These shirts were manufactured during that period and then disappeared into the back the band warehouse never to be heard from again, until now.

A limited number survived.

The remaining pieces are original vintage new old stock from circa 2012, made from 100% ringspun soft cotton. They have never been reproduced for this release and are being offered from the surviving Mangled Media inventory while quantities last.

For longtime listeners, it’s a small artifact from the years immediately following the first Retard-O-Bot era and the emergence of Peter Pepper as a solo project.

For everyone else, it’s a very loud black shirt with a strange history.

Either works.
